Project Aadhyaaa Foundation was initiated in 2018 by Aadhyaaa Mashru, student of class 9th standard studying at DPS Faridabad with the aim of providing primary education to underprivileged girl children in India.

Aadhyaaa Mashru, built a foundation with the help of volunteers and like-minded people with a strong belief that educated girls would not only contribute to the economy but also issues of the population and dowry system and child marriage would reduce as more girls are educated.

Aadhyaaa Foundation organized Student activities & Science fair

Principal, St. John’s School, Aparna Gautam, President, Prayas SWS, Rakesh Gupta and Managing Director, Rajan Singh from Oswal Casting Pvt. Ltd. interacted with students from Prayas SWS.

Aadhyaaa Foundation uplifted students to main stream school

With the immense success and support from sponsors and volunteers, decided to design, build and launch the website for Aadhyaaa Foundation wherein kept a target to collect funds for 30 underprivileged girl students who can move from Prayas SWS school to mainstream school.

The COVID Warriors 2021

The COVID pandemic rocked every single individual so do our foundation. At one point in time, unable to understand how to support the children wherein there was no internet infrastructure/desktop/laptop and schools were shut. Due to consistent efforts from the volunteers and never say die attitude, came out with unique idea of educating children at our residences through our broadband net facility and classroom trainings under COVID norms. As a result of consistent influencing skills of our volunteers, could persuade parents of girls to continue their studies post 10th standard. Girls delivered outstanding results in class 10^th wherein they scored more than 80% marks against all odds of non availability of in person classes and COVID scenario with consistent support from Aadhyaaa Foundation that was celebrated by honouring them with Scholarships so that they continue to pursue their dreams.

About Aadhyaaa...

SERVICE BEFORE SELF, the school motto was well practiced by Aadhyaaa Mashru, a student of Class X who is the founder of ‘Aadhyaaa Foundation’.

She began her philanthropic venture by teaching the students of Prayas Social Welfare Society. Recently she organized a science fair for the under privileged children with an aim to provide them a platform to showcase their talent to associate science with day-to-day life. 130 children displayed 50 science projects. The event was a great success and got coverage by National News Channel and News 18 Studio. The Delhi Public School, Faridabad fraternity wishes her all success in this noble endeavor.
